Did you know that there are 206 bones in the adult human body and there are 300 in children (as they grow some of the bones fuse together).

Since I now live in Alabama I figured I should know the laws of the state. Here are a few that caught my eye. Shocked

It is illegal for a driver to be blindfolded while operating a vehicle.

Dominoes may not be played on Sunday.

Putting salt on a railroad track may be punishable by death.

Boogers may not be flicked into the wind.

It is legal to drive the wrong way down a one-way street if you have a lantern attached to the front of your automobile.

You may not have an ice cream cone in your back pocket at any time.

Men may not spit in front of the opposite sex.

Women are able to retain all property they owned prior to marriage in the case of divorce. However, this provision does not apply to men.

Who is Harriet Lane?
She was the First Lady during the term [1857-1861] of her uncle, the 15th president of the U.S., James Buchanan, the only president never to marry.
During his term, he appointed Harriet, whom he had adopted after she was orphaned, as First Lady. Planning his entertainments and presiding over his table, she was the center of attention, with her bright laugh, low cut dresses, and hoop skirts. She was known as the Belle of Washington, and she loved to dance, much to the displeasure of her staid and anal uncle.
