Garlic may work for some, but the only meal Beth doesn't have with garlic is breakfast, and she says that's because I haven't made her any garlic whole wheat bread yet. She still gets bitten by the pesky creatures about 100 times more than I do Lauging You should see this girl and garlic cloves; 3 per serving in every salad.
As a matter of fact, we have gone through 15 heads of garlic since she got here. Naw, I'm not kidding! It's a good thing that we both love the stuff, or one or the other would be running for the hills. Lauging

Man, do you exaggerate...there's only TWO cloves in the salad, and we've only gone through a half dozen heads...lol.

But yes, garlic is as much a staple in the cooking here as onions and tomatoes are!! And it sure isn't doing me any good as an insect repellant. My legs look like I have some weird and dangerous disease from all the bites I took until I learned to spray my legs with repellant BEFORE I put my jeans on...the little buggers were getting me above the sock line!! Grrrrrr!!

Wow, Beth! That Roger must be SOME MAN *wink-wink* for you to put up with that....that just may be worse than mice! You guys wouldn't happen to be exxagerating, would you?

Of course, when a guy has 'what it takes', us women will deal with anything, won't we?

Heck...now that I know Al like I do, Embarassed Twisted Evil I love you cheers affraid , the mice would just be an excuse to get him to hold me longer while I get over cowering from my fear....not that I'd NEED an excuse, I don't think....
